Appivo has its headquarters in Sweden but also has a presence in California and India. The position of QA Tester is a remote position; meaning you can work just about anywhere! We work hard but we also have a pretty relaxed and flexible work environment.

We do this by providing a platform that simplifies the development of IT solutions - be it web, mobile or IoT solutions. Many different types of solutions have already been built on top of the Appivo platform, ranging from construction and healthcare to industrial automation. 

Job Description and Responsibilities
This position is at Appivo Applications AB, the services wing of Appivo. The mission for Appivo Applications is to push the Appivo platform forward by building custom applications for real customers. Project teams usually consist of two to three people working closely together with our customers in Europe, USA and Australia.

As a QA Tester you will participate in the critical aspects of Quality Assurance; ensuring that our customers receive nothing but the best. In addition to executing manual test plans and filing issues for customer projects in development, you'll also be responsible for periodic, proactive testing of shipped projects. Good written communications skills will help you accurately describe issues and create project quality reports. Senior team members will provide guidance and will help you get up to speed quickly.

Some travel is possible, including occasional trips to our corporate headquarters in Sweden both for work and for fun team-building purposes.

Qualifications and Skills
To be eligible for this position you should have at least 1 year of experience, including work with modern web technologies and a burning passion for everything you do. If you have more years of relevant experience that's ok, too!
Your background should include as many of these as possible:

• Experience with manual testing against test plans
• Experience clearly documenting found issues
• Experience creating quality reports
• --
• Experience reviewing and creating test plans is a plus
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence & Slack is a plus
• Bonus if you know a thing or two about UX
