DevOps Architect

Position Summary

Exciting career opportunity that provides a DevOps Architect role in the software development engineering team, in Pune center that is involved in the design and implementation of next generation products for fintech industry.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot deployment strategies for Ayopop’s cloud-based software products
• Create server-side deployments for Ayopop products, primarily in the cloud & collaboration space
• Create high-level deployment design documents and outline software solutions
• Experience Building a multi-region highly available auto-scaling infrastructure that optimises performance and cost. 
• plan for future infrastructure as well as Maintain & optimise existing infrastructure. 
• Hands on experience in Golang OR NodeJS is a must.

 
Requirements (Technical Skills)

• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent. MS or higher degree preferred.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in developing and managing web/app products.
• Strong DevOps Management experience with focus on server-side development and database design
• Experience in CI/CD (continuous integration) and environment deployments. 
• Demonstrated understanding and hands-on experience in Kubernetes, K8s-Ingress, Docker, AWS EC2, VPC, Route53, ELB, RDS, MongoDB, Helm, Rancher, Jenkins, VPN, GKE.
• Hands-on experience in deploying and managing highly scalable cloud applications using AWS,Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of web technologies, web services, communication protocols, (REST, SOAP API’s) and a proven track record in developing communication between desktop applications and web services
• Basic understanding of cloud security and hands on experience in building secure systems. 
• Experience with working on code enhancements within a large, complex software system
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
