Video Editor Intern – Remote

Codemez IT Solutions is looking for a creative and motivated Video Editor Intern to join our remote team.

This internship is an opportunity to gain practical experience creating engaging video content for social media, digital marketing, websites, promotional campaigns, and brand communication.

You will work on real-world content and collaborate with the team to create professional, engaging, and platform-ready videos.

<h3>🎥 Responsibilities</h3>

• Edit short-form and long-form video content
• Create engaging videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms
• Cut and arrange footage according to the required concept and storytelling
• Add transitions, animations, text, subtitles, graphics, and effects
• Add and synchronize background music, voiceovers, and sound effects
• Create promotional and marketing videos
• Resize and optimize videos for different social media platforms
• Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across videos
• Work with raw footage, images, audio, and other digital assets
• Make revisions based on feedback
• Organize project files and maintain proper file structures
• Collaborate with the marketing, design, and development teams
• Stay updated with current video trends and social media formats

• Basic knowledge of video editing
• Good understanding of video composition and storytelling
• Familiarity with at least one video editing tool
• Good sense of timing, transitions, music, and visual presentation
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Ability to understand instructions and implement feedback
• Good communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines
• Willingness to learn and experiment with new editing styles

<h3>💻 Editing Tools</h3>

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• DaVinci Resolve
• CapCut
• Final Cut Pro
• Canva
• Other professional video editing tools

You don't need to know all of these. Good skills in one editing tool are sufficient.
