Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Fabelio is an well funded design-centric e-tailer operating in Indonesia and soon in entire South East Asia (opening Malaysia, Singapire and Thailand in next 12 months). Fabelio was started by BITS Pilani graduates, combining with an Indonesia, a German and an Italian cofounders, who come with varied experience across Europe, South America, India, and South east Asia (SEA), bringing to the table work experience from Freecharge, Lazada, Zalora, Linio, Private Equity, Furniture designing and Interior designing.

We partner with the best designers in Indonesia to create original designs and we work closely with the best factories to manufacture good-quality products at attractive prices. At Fabelio we focus on furnishing happiness. You will be a part of building one of the most exciting and fast growing e-commerce businesses ever seen in SE Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts 
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Requirements:

• A detail-oriented worker with strong collaborative skills
• Proven work experience in software development
• Familiar with JavaScript, Selenium, and integrating Jira/Agile to selenium
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience in both white box and black box testing and automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
