Senior Project Manager-eCommerce Software (Remote)

This opportunity is with Handelnine Global, an e-commerce company that owns and operates 15+ online retail brands in over 60 countries. The company has offices in India as well as the USA and serves global markets including the UK, USA, Europe, Australia, Middle East and Southeast Asia.

We’re rapidly growing our core business, expanding internal tools and launching new products, and are opening this position to support our growth.

The role is 100% remote. We offer competitive compensation and 28 leave days annually.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for managing diverse projects, including support and development of our ecommerce application and a complex set of internal tools supporting our innovative business model. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, while fostering a collaborative and efficient development environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, replenishment, retrospectives) and continuously improve delivery processes based on team feedback and your insights.
• Develop and maintain project plans and timelines, report status to stakeholders
• Be involved in projects like new site launches, rollout of new design templates on multiple online stores, migration from one tech platform to another, and even projects related to internal products and backend tools..
• Manage dependencies between project components and proactively identify and address potential roadblocks.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Break down complex requirements into manageable tasks and ensure clear understanding across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, providing guidance and support to team members.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of project management experience in software development.
• Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in fast-paced and complex environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Scrum) and experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain focus in a dynamic environment.
• Technical knowledge at a level that is sufficient to communicate with technical team members (key web development concepts, SDLC, CI/CD, good coding practices, etc.)
