Senior Azure Developer

We are looking for a key addition to our engineering team for building scalable distributed data solutions on the Azure Platform. The Senior Azure Developer would be contributing in solutions and product development on Azure platform.

Responsibilities :

1. Hands-on technical role; contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including the analysis, implementation, and QA

2. Collaboration on requirements; work with the Engineering, Product Management and Client Success teams to define features to help improve results for our customers and ourselves alike

3. Set enterprise standards, guidelines and best practices for all the tools and technologies involved in the project.

4. Work with Data Mining and Analytics team to do analysis, build predictive models & optimization algorithms, and run experiments

Requirements :

1. Senior Azure Developer should have a solid background in the fundamentals of computer science, distributed computing, large scale data processing, Cloud Computing as well as mastery of Database designs and Data warehousing/Data Lake.

2. Expertise in building Multitenant Data Lake and other solutions.

3. Expertise in building massively scalable distributed data processing solutions with HDInsight for both Spark and Sqoop, Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse(Synapse)

4. Sound understanding of the functionalities - Identity Management, Security, Data Governance, Devops,Operations on Azure Platform.

5. Experience in building data pipelines using Data Factory and analysis tools using Java or Python

6. Deep experience with distributed systems, large scale non-relational data stores, Data Modeling, Database performance, and multi-terabyte data warehouses/Data Lakes

7. Any experience working on real-time/streaming data pipelines including components like Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hub, Spark Streaming, Azure Stream Analytics, Apache Storm etc would be an added bonus

8. Expertise in Data API creation.

9. Aptitude to independently learn new technologies

10. Strong problem-solving skills
