Hardware Hacker/Embeded Engineer

Orangewood Labs is working on World's Most cost-effective robotic arms! We are backed by Y Combinator and operate out of Bay Area and New Delhi. 

Job Description
We're looking for a disruptive maker to innovate in robotics and hardware systems design as part of our core engineering team.

Responsibilities:

Quick prototyping of hardware within design constraints
Being a part of day-to-day problem-solving sprints
Procurement and research of all electronic components
Being a key stakeholder in core R&D and adding to the knowledge base
Have fun and break things!
We are looking for candidates with:

Ownership driven work ethic
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Prior experience in designing PCB's and soldering for development is a must
Basic knowledge of digital and analog electronics, BLDC motors is a plus! 
Prior experience in electronics control and monitoring processes


Software Skills (One or More): ARM/RISC Architecture, FreeRTOS, Linux, 8Bit and 16Bit Microcontrollers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, SPI, i2C, CAN, Modbus, Python, C/C++, Raspberry Pi/ Odroid, Image Processing will be a plus.
