Web Backend Developer – MEAN Stack, B2C Transport Tech Startup

About Us
We are a Transport Tech startup working to solve one of the major challenges in the mass transportation using financial technology. Founders from IIT, ISB and IIM. Raised ~$1.5M from VC. Expected to launch by November 2019 (more details will be shared after a few interview rounds).

Role Description
1. Location: Mumbai
2. CTC – Upto 12 lakhs + ESOPs
3. Work with founders to conceptualize & build the entire Internet platform
4. Perform a mix of new development, maintenance and enhancements
5. Design and deploy the setup and scaling of infrastructure of your applications on AWS
6. Design and develop applications for scale, reliability and security

Functional Experience

• Computer Science or IT Engineer from a Tier-I or Tier-II college only
• 2+ years of web development and software design experience in B2C Internet companies
• Technological Expertise:
  o Web server technologies like Node.js, Express.js and GoLang
  o Database technologies like MongoDB, Redis and MySQL
  o Restful APIS for web or mobile apps
  o Experience working in Linux (Ubuntu)
• Some experience deploying, scaling and managing applications on Cloud (AWS)
• Good command over skills like Caching, Queuing, Microservices, API development, Memory management
• Hands-on experience in developing & scaling web scraping systems (Optional)
• Unparalleled ability to troubleshoot problems making you the go to guy for all things technical
• You love code and are up for a challenge!
