Job Role: Business development executive

Experience: Minimum 1 year of Business development experience.

The role of a Business Development Executive is to assist the organisations sales and growth efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition. He/she should be able to provide ideas to attract new clients and keep the senior management updated about marketplace and competitor activity. The primary role and responsibilities of a Business Development Executive include:

Sales:

Identifying new sales leads.

Pitching our company services to potential clients.

Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets.

Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date.

Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc.)

Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)

Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.

Outreach Strategy:

Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers

Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness

Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)

Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels

Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website

Collaborate with designers to improve user experience

Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.

 

Skills Required:

Experience with lead generation and prospect management.

Experience with B2B social media, email campaigns and SEO/SEM.

Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search console, WebTrends etc.)

Good knowledge of CRM tools for better handling of new and existing clients (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, etc)

Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to analyse data and make recommendations from insights.

Established presentation skills.

Analytical mindset and critical thinking

BBM/BA in marketing or relevant field

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
