Head of Technology at Profitable Startup

We are looking for Head of technology waiting to be part of a high impact disruptive enterprise, impacting millions of people world over. The candidate should be able to take ownership of the complete Backend development and further build, scale and maintain product. The candidate should also be able to lead backend team and optimize and scale the backend system.

What's Your Role?

There will be lots of fun and challenges of scaling the product and you will have the pleasure of growing and owning a part of the company.

As an core member of the team, Your role will involve:

Taking up ownership of the development of the backend and algorithms, developing and rolling out releases as planned.

Plan and build application for scalbility.

Design and Manage System Architecture.

Owning product roadmaps and leading product management activities.

Working with the Mobile Development Team in building the platform.

Actively participating in hiring the Product/Technical Team and leading the dev team.

Technical Qualification :

1. 3+ years overall experience in Software Development/System Design/Software Architecture

2. Experience in leading agile based project management

3. Experience in leading and managing a team

4. At least 2 years working experience in NodeJS/Typescript/MySQL & working knowledge in python .

5. Experience in using NodeJS frameworks like Express/Mocha/Chai

6. Basic understanding of using GraphQL with NodeJS

7. Excellent NodeJS & Javascript Design and development

8. Basic Knowledge on MongoDB

9. Basic development experience in Angular/HTML/CSS

8. Very strong understanding in basics of programming, data structures and computer science concepts like Design Pattern and best practices.

10. Basic understanding on UML diagrams, software documentation

11. Compatible with Agile/SCRUM work environment and drive the team in Agile way

12. Solution oriented thinker, excellent problem solving mindset, Ready to take calculated risks and challenges, output driven work culture, good team worker and good analytical thinking.

13. Experience in startup is needed

Pluses :

- Experience with Mobile Application development

- Experience with implementation of Computer Vision algorithms

- Strong knowledge of Web Security
